For the past few weeks we've started to talk about Christmas with Heather. The tree is up (no ornaments yet) and we've mentioned Santa a few times. Each time his name comes up, Heather tells us that she doesn't want to sit on his lap. Um, ok. I have trouble believing that she remembers doing so last year (we have the obligatory crying on santa's lap picture), but we certainly aren't going to force her. The current plan is to go visit this weekend, but we have no illusion that she'll talk to him. Fine.
So last night at dinner I asked her what she would like Santa to get her for Christmas.
Her response (while shoveling macaroni and cheese into her mouth) was "Mac'n Cheese".
I asked her what Santa should bring Todd.
"Mac'nCheese because he'll be able to eat it when he gets bigger".
I guess we could have saved ourselves a lot of money on presents if we would have asked sooner...

I love that Sesame Street toy! I wonder if my parents still have mine. . .
